Erika + Colton got married on March 23, 2019 in Knoxville, Tennessee! It was my first wedding of 2019, and I loved getting back into the wedding swing of things. Erika was a sorority sister of mine, and she reached out to me several months ago to meet and talk all about her big day and wedding photography.
We did their fall engagement session at Norris Dam State Park this past November, and you can see it here!
As a recent dog-mom myself (Levi came into my life when I met Jordan), I LOVE the fact that Colton’s dog played a role in starting a conversation between this bride and groom when they met. (Dogs know how to bring two soulmates together. Obviously.)
Colton and Erika had their ceremony at Salem Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. They chose to have a first look in front of the stained glass window in the church balcony so that they could have a special moment to themselves. After the ceremony, we went to the Historic Southern Railway Station for their reception. One of my favorite parts of the day had to be Erika’s first dance with her father because of the way they held each other so tightly.
Here are some of my favorite images to tell the story of their day. Enjoy!
