Cathryn + David became husband and wife at Whitestone Country Inn in Kingston, Tennessee on July 13th, 2019. They were guests at our wedding, and it was so much fun to finally get to attend their big day! (I say finally, but they had a short engagement like us!)
In the wedding questionnaire they filled out for me, they listed their first look as one of the top three most important moments that they looked forward to on their wedding day. They saw each other for the first time on the front porch at Whitestone and exchanged gifts after many smiles, hugs, and tears. If you know me, you know that I usually tear up a few times on wedding days, and the first time this happened was when David gave Cathryn her wedding gift. (You’ll know that moment when you see it because Cathryn’s tears are so sweet in the photos!)
Because they decided to see each other before the ceremony (which I always recommend!), we spent a lot of time near the water for some midday portraits. This was probably my favorite part of the day because we got so many photos of them laughing together just moments before they were about to become husband and wife!
Jordan came with me to this wedding, and I had the best time having him there. We were even on the seating chart! (Wedding photographer goals.) You’ll find a few photos of him dancing with my maid of honor Alexis later on in this blog post.
Cathryn + David, I absolutely loved being a part of your special day! You two are so special to us, and we loved being able to celebrate your marriage with you!
