Today’s blog post features my favorite photographs from my very last bridal session of the year! Elise’s bridal portraits were taken at a local Christmas tree farm a couple of weeks before her wedding day. (I’ll be sharing images from that special day super soon!) Elise + Kole’s wedding ceremony was at an old church in downtown Knoxville, and their reception was at The Press Room. This location was perfect for her bridal session because of how close it was to Christmas, AND because the locations we would be spending time at on her wedding day wouldn’t have much greenery!
I’m a HUGE advocate for having a separate session for bridal portraits either before or after your wedding day. If you do them before, you can also do a hair + makeup trial the same day! If you do your bridal session after the wedding, you could also bring your new spouse with you for some extra portraits of the two of you together! I did a bridal session as a gift for my mom, and I’m so grateful to have extra images of just me in what will be my favorite dress I’ll ever wear. (Especially since I’ll never really have the opportunity to wear it again!)
